Micro switch is a small contact interval and fast moving mechanism, with a specified stroke and a specified force for switching action of the contact mechanism, covered by the shell, its external drive rod of a switch, because the switch contact spacing is relatively small, so the name micro switch, also known as sensitive switch.
Also known as sensitive switch, quick switch. Pressure actuated fast opening and closing. Used for door switches in anti-theft systems.
Operating principle
The external mechanical force acts on the action reed through the transmission element (press the pin, button, lever, roller, etc.), and generates an instantaneous action when the action reed is displaced to the critical point, so that the moving contact at the end of the action reed is quickly connected or disconnected from the fixed contact.
When the force on the transmission element is removed, the action reed produces reverse action force, and when the reverse stroke of the transmission element reaches the action critical point of the reed, the reverse action is completed instantaneously.
The microswitch has small contact spacing, short action stroke, small press power and quick on-off. The operating speed of the moving contact has nothing to do with the operating speed of the transmission element.
